Paul’s message is that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we (evangelized Gentiles) can partake of all Old Testament and New Testament covenant benefits and blessings. We are grafted into God’s covenant relationship through Christ. Since we are grafted in this way, He wants us to think in terms of covenant in all areas of life.
