Throughout history, covenant has been a way of establishing the framework of relationships. In earlier times, it was most often sealed with the shedding of blood because blood represented life and covenants were made to protect and maintain a certain manner of life. God used this understanding to set forth and seal His covenant with mankind through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. Covenant, though absolutely relevant today, is little understood due to the dwindling integrity of a personal relationships. God, Himself, desires to be with you, to make covenant with you, and He shed the precious blood of His Son to do so. Do not sacrifice your inheritance by not being aware of what a personal relationship with God through the new covenant entails.
