We can live a life of "But God" that answers all the "Yes, but(s)" by continually surrendering to the lordship of Christ in every circumstance.
We can discover our new heritage in Christ in the New Year by pledging to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all other things will be added to us in God's timing.
We can speak God's new words for the New Year and experience God's best prosperity for our lives in 2012.
God is giving new wine for the New Year, and the best is yet to come.
Christmastime is an excellent season to renew our sonship relationship with God as our Father, using Jesus Christ Himself as the model.
Our God is a God of new beginnings in Christ. Through many new beginnings, "His government and peace" will increase forever.
Our God is a God of new beginnings. "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Biblical thanksgiving is “better felt than telt,” but if we want the full benefits of it, we do need to speak it.
God's grace supplies all the sufficiency for success in our lives in Christ.
God's grace is the best medicine available today. It works for both an ounce of prevention and a pound of cure when God's people humble themselves.
God's grace still exalts one and puts down another today. The good news is that there is an unending supply of grace for those who humble themselves.
God's grace, expressed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, empowers us to prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
A graceful transformation into what God has called us to be is a fulfilling life of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
We can practice dominion over the power of sin and self through God's grace given in the cross of Jesus Christ.
In the New Testament, Paul taught that the pathway to holy living was by God's grace revealed in the cross of Jesus Christ. Faith and grace are power twins for living holy lives in Christ today.
The apostle Paul describes holiness by God's grace in Romans 4:1-25. By faith in God’s grace at the cross of Jesus Christ, we can live holy today.
A lifestyle of holiness by God's grace still produces God's blessings and rewards in the United States today.
Believers in Christ can reign in life by receiving God's healing today. He turns victims into victors.
Guilt is only effective as a short-term motivator for change. It is meant to drive us to Christ. Grace is a more effective long-term motivator for godly living in Christ. We can reign over the power of sin and guilt through the power of grace that is in Jesus Christ.
We can reign in life over the power of fear by the greater power of God’s grace that works in us.
The United States is a country with "rule of law" as its government structure, but believers in Christ can rise above the rule of law by allowing grace to reign in their lives.
The gospel of Jesus Christ provides the solution to man’s sin-debt problem. This has practical implications for our nation’s financial debt as well.
In Christ, we can “reign in life” to be free from the rule of law that victimizes humanity. Pastor Davis talks about some of the laws from which we have been set free.
A theme that is repeated throughout biblical history is that God's mercy motivates His people to sacrifice. Revelation of His mercy in Christ will continue to motivate His people for years and generations to come.
Paul’s message is that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we (evangelized Gentiles) can partake of all Old Testament and New Testament covenant benefits and blessings. We are grafted into God’s covenant relationship through Christ. Since we are grafted in this way, He wants us to think in terms of covenant in all areas of life.
We can apply the principles of Paul’s theology of dependency on Christ in the midst of our independent-minded culture today. Fully yielding to total dependency on Christ produces the fruit of internal freedom regardless of our outward circumstances. Independence from Christ produces the very opposite.
God has a plan for evangelism in every generation, in every nation, and in every culture. Our responsibility is to discover His plan and partner with it through our lives and words.
God models fatherhood in the way He relates to His people throughout Scriptural history. We have all had imperfect fathers that were in different stages of development themselves while they related to us. But God is a perfect heavenly Father, providing perfect love, perfect patience, and perfect discipline to His covenant children.
God is the ultimate road-builder. In 2 Chronicles, God partnered with His people to make a way where there was no way. Trust in the Lord and acknowledge Him – He will make a way for you where there seems to be no way.
“God and Riches” is a biblically inseparable concept! As Pastor Davis explains, you can struggle to follow the money or you can follow the Lord and allow Him to make the money follow you.
Some people fantasize about receiving news that they have received a windfall of some sort; maybe winning the lottery or finding out about an unexpected inheritance. Even though they read stories of it happening to others, they rarely believe it could happen to them. But the truth is, as sinners saved by grace, we receive a windfall to beat all windfalls through a relationship with Christ. And as we live our lives within the context of that relationship, our needs are abundantly met. Reaping a windfall in Christ is the focus of this message and will encourage you to receive the unexpected, unearned inheritance waiting for you.
The cry of Scripture is “be reconciled to God!” (II Cor. 5:20) Why? Because once sin entered creation through the rebellion of man, enmity existed between God and mankind thwarting His plan for man to dwell with Him in peace and prosperity. But God ended His war against sin at the cross where He poured out all His wrath upon His Son, Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that when Jesus was lifted up upon that cross, He drew all judgment unto Himself. (John 12:31-33) Now, all man has to do to leave the war-torn life of fear, depression, sickness, anxiety, anger, discouragement, and defeat is “confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead.” (Rms. 10:9) From the quality of our personal lives to the health of our nation, the effects of living in enmity with God are evident in struggles for physical, emotional, economical, and social well being. Listen to “War and Peace with God” and leave the desolation of war to discover a life of tranquility and prosperity.
With all the political correctness of this day and age, some have chosen to view God as gender neutral while some have decided to view God as a female rather than male entity. All of this debate is unfortunate because Scripture, itself, declares God to have both male and female traits. Yes, He is God our Father. Yet, He revealed Himself covenantally to Abraham as El Shaddai. The name 'El Shaddai' implies that He is the One who will nourish, supply and satisfy all our needs. God is completely secure in revealing His fatherly and motherly characteristics throughout the Bible. Listen as Pastor Jonathan Clark teaches on the motherly characteristics of God this Mother's Day.
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to live life completely debt free? Most people are certain that if they were debt free, they could really enjoy life. And, they are absolutely correct. But the concept of dealing with our debt is usually thought of in terms of financial freedom when, in truth, that is a benefit of debt free living…not the meaning of debt free living. We all, whether rich or poor, live beneath a debt we could never pay. But the good news is, by simply accepting the provision made for the payment of that debt, we can experience debt free living in every area of life. Dealing with our debt of sin enables us to tap into the Creative Genius of the universe and the power to gain wealth in every area of life with the potential of living every day financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually free.
The apostle Paul was delighted that the Ephesian church had experienced deliverance from sin, satan, and self. However, his deeper desire was that they come to understand the wealth of covenant blessings available to them in Christ. God's heart is still the same towards His people today. Listen and learn with us concerning our access to the Father's eternal covenant promises toward all of those who are citizens in the kingdom through Jesus Christ.
The Bible is a record of multiple covenants that God has established between man and Himself, the last covenant being the culmination of His plan of complete restoration; the “better covenant based upon better promises” (Hebrews 8:6). Having brought us near to Him, once again, through the blood of His Son, we now have total access to His presence resulting in grace to walk in total victory and peace that passes understanding. As with all covenants/contracts, we must know of what it consists if we are to experience the benefits because what we don’t know will hurt us.
“It’s all about who you know.” That is very true and when it comes to a life filled with the “favors” of a relationship with the “right person,” nothing can beat a covenant with God! Most alliances change with incoming and outgoing parties but this relationship remains constant with benefits that will never be canceled. The contract God extends makes provision for every need you have to be faithfully and consistently met. It’s sole purpose is to bless you. When is the last time you had that kind of offer?
Change isn’t something people often readily accept, even if it means something better will be the result. Because God is adamant about revealing Himself, He has and will always have a voice addressing the unique issues of every culture. Those willing to hear and receive will experience the benefits of the advancing kingdom of God and, in turn, become a voice, themselves, to change the culture. That is, as long as the potential for rejection and derision does not weaken their resolve. But if one truly presses into the things of God, the reward will always outweigh the sacrifice. This message extends the invitation to become part of God’s growing kingdom. Our choice to receive or reject it will absolutely affect this culture.
In Matthew 19, we find the story of a rich, young ruler wanting to know the secret of inheriting eternal life. He was an extremely prosperous man and had great confidence in his wealth and ability to live a life deserving of favor. Because we have a tendency to rely upon our own efforts for our success, the man asked what it was he must do, exposing the pride of believing it is our own efforts that make us deserving. So, Jesus pointed him back to the law of Moses because whenever we think it is our own efforts that warrant reward, we fall from grace and Jesus has no choice but to point back to the Law. And though the rich man believed he had kept the law, Jesus pointed out his failure. The young man had made money his god; a god with whom he would not part. If only the young ruler had been willing to turn from his dependence upon self and his attachment to his material possessions, he could have received what Jesus was offering: a life of freedom from enslavement to self-sufficiency and the endless prosperity which grace freely offers. But we must get rid of our own agenda and humbly receive His word. Listen as Pastor Davis expounds upon this story. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God’s plans for us are to give us a future and a hope. Grace (God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense) is the gift of every provision necessary for prosperity in all areas of our life. Peace with God is what is necessary to maintain everything grace gives us. Learn how partnering with God brings the peace that enables us to receive and maintain the good future that has already been established for us.
