I made a lot of mistakes as a teenager. I was in rebellion and was foolish. One of those mistakes that I made was dropping out of high school as a senior. I believe God’s goal is always restoring His people to Himself. This restoration is a process and a partnership.
He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)
A few months back the Lord put pressure on me to register for the GED prep classes, which is a requirement to take the test. I had previously taken this class and had a lot of concerns. The times that were available to study were limited, and I have a family to take into consideration. There was also the concern of how much I could recall, seeing as it had been quite some time since I was in high school. I began speaking truth to myself. I have all of God’s grace to accomplish anything, and I always have God’s favor.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
God’s grace empowers me to be more than I am!! Praise the Lord! I humbled myself, and the Lord made an awesome provision for the prep class. I found out there was a class right down the street from my house; it was in the morning, and childcare was provided for free. He had a pre-planned provision for me. So I began at the beginning of November, confident that the Holy Spirit would not leave me hanging.
Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Nor be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame (Isaiah 54:4).
God has proven Himself faithful. Holy Spirit has brought things back to my mind that had long been forgotten. Along the way, I learned that if I scored high enough I would qualify for a four semester scholarship from OTC, our local community college. The Holy Spirit put faith in my heart to pursue this goal. I took my test in February and did very well. I have applied for the scholarship at OTC. Leaning on the Lord allowed me to excel. I am very excited for the future plans the Lord has for me.
